Communications and Marketing Coordinator – Owl’s Head Inc. – Mansonville

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the main task of the incumbent will be to produce content and animate the various digital platforms, participating in the development of digital media plans and ensuring updates on the website. To name a few, the duties of the Communications and Marketing Coordinator will be as follows:

Main tasks

  • Plan, select, develop and publish new content to be produced on social networks (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter);
  • Create and adapt visuals for campaigns and one-off sales points, write editorials and create content on the field (photos and video capsules);
  • Support the managers of the various teams in the design and development of corporate, promotional or event-specific materials;
  • ensuring daily monitoring and management of comments from our various media;
  • Promote the image of the owl head
  • Collaboration in strategic and competitive intelligence on the evolution of social networks in the tourism sector;
  • producing newsletters and blogs;
  • Manage and update customer database;
  • Participate in the drafting of printed materials and ensure technical direction for their design;
  • website update (CMS);
  • Collaborate on the project conceptualization process (UX design);
  • Participate in the development, creation, optimization and analysis of digital campaigns in collaboration with external partners.

Requirements, skills and qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related major;
  • Three years of relevant work experience;
  • Excellent written and oral skills in French and English;
  • Excellent proficiency in various social media and web communication strategies, social networks/media, and best practices in online community animation (Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram);
  • Knowledge of the Office suite and the following software: Photoshop, Power Point, InDesign, Illustrator, WordPress, MailChimp, basic HTML (original);
  • Professional attitudes and behavior (teamwork, independence, dynamism, interpersonal skills, sense of initiative, strong sense of organization);
  • Ability to work on several projects in parallel.
